Welcome to Grimshaw Farms! We offer a scenic, working farm environment for photographers hosting mini sessions, family portraits, and styled outdoor shoots. To keep things smooth, safe, and professional, the following policies apply:

📋 Farm Use Rates & Booking Terms

Farm Use Fee: $400 for up to 5 hours of access.
Deposit: $150 non-refundable deposit required to reserve a date.
Final Payment: Balance due at least 48 hours prior to session.
Payment Methods: Venmo, Zelle, major credit cards (invoice sent via email/text).
No exceptions — all payments must be complete before any session begins.

Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

🌦 Cancellations, Weather, and Refund Policy

All deposits are non-refundable for any reason, including weather or client cancellations.
If rescheduling is needed, a new deposit is required to reserve a new date.
Grimshaw Farms’ fee is fixed, regardless of client turnout, weather, or personal circumstances.

🚫 Livestock Access Policy

Rental includes access to pasture areas, scenic backdrops, and pre-staged hay bales (round and square).
Movable fencing panels available by advance request (no additional cost).
No assistance from farm staff — photographers manage all setup, cleanup, and client wrangling.

Photographers are responsible for ensuring clients respect farm property. Damage will be billed accordingly.

Grimshaw Farms does not rent or loan animals for general photography use.
Animal involvement must be requested and approved in writing at least 14 days before the session.
No riding, holding, chasing, or physically restraining any farm animals.
No access to rams, breeding stock, or livestock guardian dogs.

🐕 Outside Animals (Dogs, Horses, Etc.)

Outside animals are not allowed unless specifically approved in writing at least 14 days in advance.
All outside animals must be leashed or fully under control at all times.
Owners assume full liability for any damage, mess, or injury caused by outside animals.

Can I bring props like couches, flower arches, or pumpkins?

✔️ Yes, but you must handle all setup and removal. Farm staff do not assist with props.

Can we use lambs or baby animals in the session?

✔️ Yes, but only with prior written approval. Animals cannot be handled without permission.

Can we bring a horse or dog?

✔️ Possibly — if pre-approved at least 14 days prior. Full supervision and cleanup required.

What if bad weather hits?

☔ Your deposit remains non-refundable. A new deposit is required for rescheduling.

What happens if my clients cancel and I can't fill all my slots?

💵 Full payment is still required. Our fee is fixed regardless of your client turnout.
